Grandma
didn’t go to church with us today. There was a guest speaker and she wouldn’t
have a copy of the message so she decided to stay home and watch Hour of Power
on TV. Dr. Al Hensen delivered the message; he is worldwide leader in the
Persecuted Church movement. He has more firsthand experience with the
Persecuted Church than almost any person alive. After hearing his message there
wasn’t a dry eye in the church, a very moving message. We have no idea how
blessed we are to live in a country where we are free to worship God openly
without being persecuted. Please do one thing for me today, check out this web
site www.compassionatehope.org .
After church we left our car at church and went out for lunch with Mike and
Pam. We eat at Bob Evans and once again it was a great meal. After lunch Pam
wanted to go shopping and Cheri agreed that we should go. So off to Lakeland we
went. While Pam and Cheri shopped Mike and I did some walking and visiting. It
was great to get out and away from the house and not think about work. It was
around 3:00 pm when we got home. I watched the NASCAR race that I recorded.
Cheri read the Sunday paper and took a nap, then later she worked in her sewing
room. I did help here do a couple of things but that was all for the day.
