It was one of those days that didn’t go as I had planned. I was a very nice morning not too hot and a light breeze, a good day to go for a motorcycle ride. So I got ready and went out to start the motorcycle and the battery didn’t have enough juice to start the bike. I had the battery charger on the bike last week, so I was surprised that it didn’t start. I started the charger again and got my meter to take a reading of the battery and found that the charger wasn’t working. I trace down the problem and found that the cord that is on the bike was faulty. While I was putting the charger on again the guy in charge of park security stopped by to let me know that there was a security meeting at 1:00 pm. Before I went to the meeting I took the handle off the refrigerator as it was loose and I couldn’t tighten it any tighter. I found a stripped set screw and need to get a new one. After the security meeting I went to Baker Acers to pick up Grandma’s mail and take it to her and see how she was doing. Then I mowed Bud’s lawn, from there I went to Lowe’s to get the set screw. I didn’t have any luck there so I headed to Moody’s hardware down town. It is an old time hardware store and usually has anything you need. Well they were close for the day, so I stopped by Auto Zone and didn’t have any luck there. I headed home and put the handle back on the best I could for the night. Cheri was busy cleaning and cooking for the pot luck dinner at our place this evening with Norm & Marlene and Mike & Mary. She also was working on the dining room window valance. Everyone showed up at 5:00 pm for dinner which was very good.
