This morning I helped Cheri with her material layout for the sewing room window valance. She has only a small amount of material that she wants to use so we were trying to figure out different ways to get the best use out of it, we did come up with a plan. At 10:15 am we headed down to Tampa for the home show. It has been over eight years since we have been to one; there wasn’t any reason to go before as we didn’t have a house. We did see a few new things for the most part we were pretty disappointed and were back home by 1:30 pm. I got the grill out and grilled steak for a late dinner and some pork chops for the next couple of days. After dinner Cheri worked on her sewing room valance and I relaxed and watched the NASCAR race. Cheri got done with the valance about the same time as the race was over so I helped her put it up and it looks very nice. We watched TV this evening until about 8:45 pm. Mike picked me up and we did park security for two hours. We had volunteered to do the security and tonight was our first time doing it. Jim the guy in charge showed us where the golf cart was and what we needed to do. So we rode around checking things for a couple of hours. It is our way of helping out and Mike and I got a chance to spend some time together.
