Gay June-2-15

Cheri has been very nervous about her eye and the surgery
she is having tomorrow. She did get a call from the hospital and had to answer a
lot of questions. Some which I thought were on the stupid side, can you read
and write, do you speak English, do you need a translator. As the women was
talking to her and told her to write some things down. She has to be at the
hospital at 10:00 am tomorrow and the surgery at 12:00 pm and should be done
and ready to go home at 2:00 pm. This morning we went to Wal-Mart to get her
medicine and there wasn’t any waiting for her. So we called the doctor’s office
and they forgot to call it in. So while we were there we bought a new microwave
for Grandma. We took that over to her place and set it up for her, then took
the old one to the garbage dumpster. It was noon when we got home, after lunch
we both were exhausted and headed for the recliner. I was planning on working
on the mantel shelf I am making for Cheri but was too hot and humid to be out
working. At 4:00 pm we went back to Wal-Mart and picked up Cheri’s medicine and
then over to check Larry and Denise’s house. Then we met Mike and Pam for
supper at Panera Breads. Pam had made a couple of meals of food for us to have
for the next couple of days, how nice is that. So after supper they brought the
food over and then we play a game of Phase Ten. We had prayers before they went
home; we are blessed to have friends that look out for us.
