First and foremost I want to thank everyone for the prayers for Cheri. The doctor said that the surgery went well and she should have a speedy recovery. The biggest problem Cheri had was coming out from under the general anesthesia. She was in the recovery room at 2:30 pm and we didn’t leave for home until 5:30 pm. She was also nauseated and they gave her three different meds for that. It was near 7:00 pm when we arrived home. I put her to bed so she could rest as she was still very groggy. She hadn’t had anything to eat all day so she said that she wanted to try a piece of toast and some water. She has to sleep on her side and if she is up she has to keep her head in a down position. She has a 10:45 follow up appointment tomorrow and should find out more. I also want to thank Mike and Pam for being with us and waiting with me while Cheri was in surgery.
