Happy Fathers Day, I pray that you all called your father to wish him a happy Father Day or said a pray if he has pasted to let him know how much you loved him. Today was the first day of summer which means it is the day with the most day light and now it is all downhill for the rest of the year, which also means we fathers had more daylight to shine. I got phone calls from all of our kids which meant a lot to me. It was a pretty normal Sunday for us as we took Grandma to church with us. Pastor Randy had a good message about fathers and it came from the book of Job 1: 1-5. Charlie’s Sunday school lesson came from the book of Zephaniah 3:8-17 and titled Our Great Salvation. After Sunday school Mel and Jan joined us at ABC Pizza for lunch. After we dropped Grandma off we headed over to Mike and Pam’s as they wanted to show us flooring in their friends home to see if it was something we would like in our home. It was very nice but being laminate flooring it would not stand up in a kitchen area. It was near 3:00 pm when we arrived home. The rest of the day was spent talking to the kids and watching TV.
