It was another busy day here at Nikki’s. I started at 7:00 am getting the saw out and ready to finish the trim and base board. Peter came around 8:00 am to help again today. He finished the trim and base board while I did some caulking. When he got that done he took over the caulking and I started on the electrical putting in the outlets. Peter also repaired a piece of carpet where a built in use to be, repaired the garage door, and scraped a heat vent and painted it. Cheri and Nikki were painting all day on the trim and base board. We did take a break and went downtown for lunch with Peter’s daughter. It was nice to see her as it has been many years since we have seen her. We quit work around 5:30 pm. Still have some electrical work to do and additional touch up painting. There is going to be a lot of cleaning that needs to be done. I tried to watch the Green Bay Packers game but ended up going to bed shortly after the second half. Thank you God for a blessed day and all of Peter’s help. Because of the hurricane that is coming to Florida before we get home Cheri spent a lot of time on the phone getting a place for Grandma to stay during the storm. A couple from our Sunday school class is going to pick her up and take her to their place during the storm.
