The house project
continues. Cheri and Nikki did most of the installing of the insulation this
morning. I continued working on the house wiring and got most of it done. I
still have one set of switches that need to be rewired but has to wait until I
get the wall built out. Nikki left for work around 12:30 pm. Cheri helped me
with the rest of the insulation and then to put up the plastic moisture
barrier. Nikki called and the building inspector will be here tomorrow morning
to inspect before we can install the sheetrock. We quit work at 4:00 pm so we
could get ready to go out for dinner with Greg and Jeanene Peterson who are longtime
friends we met through the GWRRA. They picked us up at 5:00 pm and after dinner
we drove over to Fond du Lac Park which is on the south end of Lake Winnebago.
It was a nice place to visit and watch the sail boats. Greg and I climbed to
the top of the light house which is 60 feet high. It gave us a great view of
the lake. It was around 8:30 pm when we said our goodbyes. Sure was good to see
them. When we got in the house Nikki was watching the Green Bay Packers playing
their first preseason game. So you can guess what I did for the rest of the
evening Nikki and Cheri headed for bed about half time. Of course I stayed up
to the end.
