Cheri put in a bad night
and not feeling very good today. So she is resting and gaining strength to move
forward tomorrow. The building inspector came around 11:00 am and checked the insulation
and everything was good and able to start the sheetrock installation. I went
and picked up jack I need to raise the sagging beam. I think I can get it
jacked back in place and won’t have to replace it. I did some jacking from the
basement and then from the first floor. Things finally were coming together
when the pipe I was using for jacking buckled. That put an end to my work day.
It was 4:30 pm when that happened. Nikki came home around 5:30 pm and make
pancakes for supper. After my shower and getting cleaned up Nikki and I went to
Menard’s to order the sheetrock and trim to be delivered Monday. I just didn’t
have it in me to load everything in our truck and then unload it here at Nikki’s.
Nikki also got the paint for the kitchen, dining room, and living room. It was
past 8:30 pm when we got home. Thank you God for guiding us through another
day.
