Gay Sept-11-20

The guy (Dennis) who I
meet most mornings on my walk was at spot where we could walk together and had
a nice visit. While Cheri was doing the Friday laundry I went over to a client
here in our park that had part of a towel caught in the garbage disposal. It
took less than a minute to fix it. I put the wrench in the bottom of the
disposal and rocked it back and forth a couple of time and pulled the towel
out. They were very happy and had thoughts that they would need a new disposal.
When I got home Cheri was baking a batch of chocolate cookies. I was planning
to work at Donna’s today but Cheri wanted us to go and get our flu shots. After
our shots we were next door to Sun State and decided to stop in and check on when
they would be doing our carport extension. They said that they heard back from
the architect and now waiting for the building permit. He thought it would be
ready by next week. From there we went over to Larry and Denise’s house to check
it out and to change the Damp-Rid. It was lunch time when we got home. The
recliner felt so good that I spent the rest of the afternoon reading and
napping along with Cheri. I did feel guilty not working over to Donna’s but was
nice to have a day off. For supper Cheri fixed me the left over ribs and beans
for supper and she had an English muffin with peanut butter. It was a normal evening
watching stuff we had recorded. Thank you God for a relaxing day and keeping us
safe from the virus.
