Not a lot happing today.
Cheri did her normal Monday housework and started BQ ribs in the crockpot. I
started early around 7:30 am cleaning our rain gutters as they had a lot of
leaves that were plugging the down spouts. After that I went to work on power
washing our driveway. It took me until noon to get it all done. Needed to have
a shower before lunch. I finished reading a book titled “The End Times” by Todd
Hampson. It is an excellent book and recommend it for everyone. Cheri has now
started reading it. I had planned on an outing this afternoon but after getting
into the recliner and watching the rest of the NASCAR race that is as far as it
went. I napped most of the afternoon and Cheri even had a nap as she didn’t
have a good night. We had the ribs for supper that were very good along with
some cauliflower in cheese sauce. We have been watching a new summer series
call “Expedition to the Edge”. About a group that is trying to sail through the
Northwest Passage. Also watched a couple of Hallmark movies. Thank you God for
helping us through this day.
